Putting Commercial Customers in Control of Their Purchases.
Your commercial payment solution should provide more than specialized pricing or reward programs to your customers. Your private label solution must provide your commercial customers with the tools to control their business costs, streamline their business processes and reduce the incidence of purchasing fraud. These are just a few of the key motivators that differentiate your commercial customers from your consumer customers.
Flexible Controls, Updated in Real-Time.
With a Multi Service Private Label program, your customers can establish, deactivate and modify purchasing controls at any time online, in real-time. Purchasing control options have been designed to decrease fraud, minimize misuse and give your customers maximum control over their money.
When your commercial clients join your private label program, they have the ability to define:
- Transaction volume or frequency limitations,
- Single transaction minimum or maximum values,
- Product code limitations,
- Purchase order (PO) requirements and even PO format requirements,
- Hierarchical structures,
- Exception reporting,
- Reference number requirements such as Unit #, Department #, VIN and more.
Purchasing controls can be applied at any level within your customers’ account hierarchies. Customers can apply controls to all employees with purchasing privileges, employees at specific locations only, or to specific buyers.
Fraud Protection and Transaction Monitoring.
When you design your billing and payment program, Multi Service offers four options to minimize fraudulent card use. By incorporating a Multi Service Verification Number (MSVN) or Secondary Multi Service Verification Number (MSVN2) in the card embossing and encoding process, or by incorporating a manual Address Verification System (AVS) within your private label program, you can proactively reduce the risk of fraudulent card use within your program. Through your Multi Service Private Label card program, you may also utilize Personal Identification Numbers (PINs) as a security measure.
Beyond general card verification security systems, your private label program can analyze every transaction to ensure it complies with each customer’s unique purchasing controls. Your program can be configured to prevent non-compliant transactions from occurring, or to permit non-compliant transactions and provide your customers with alerts and detailed exceptions reports.
