SEA Card^® was designed to minimize billing errors and disputes within the bunker procurement process. As a result, fuel suppliers are less likely to undergo a lengthy dispute resolution process before being reimbursed for product. Additionally, as an open market bunker fuel supplier to the U.S. Government, fuel suppliers are reimbursed for fuel and services in accordance to the merchant agreement with Multi Service. Multi Service then bills DLA-Energy and individual branches of service directly for appropriate services. Meaning, merchants receive reimbursement more quickly with less administrative workload or financial risk.
