SEA Card^® New Interactive Port Locator.

Multi Service is in the process of developing a new port locator functionality for the U.S. Government SEA Card^® program. Vessel operators will be able to utilize the SEA Card® system to locate ports worldwide using Google^® map technology. The locator will also incorporate a “port view,” much like Google street view, which will allow operators to obtain important physical and safety information about the surrounding area.

As an additional feature, Multi Service has included important details for each merchant location on the locator such as contract status, hours of operation, product and service offerings, contact information, special conditions, etc. Select a merchant from the map and be redirected to the SEA Card^® program where you can place either a contract or open market order for your fuel.

The expected roll-out for this new port locator feature is fall 2010.
